New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’ has begun delivery of the first version of a model new council journal, free publication to all residents of the Local Government Area (LGA).
Titled ‘Our Council’, the publication is to be delivered quarterly to mailboxes all through Hornsby Shire and includes updates on major projects, data on companies, local history and sustainability together with contact information for the Shire’s Mayor and each of its 9 councillors.
Hornsby Shire Mayor Philip Ruddock AO says the publication ensures that every one residents of the Shire really feel informed and up to date on Council initiatives.
“To common customers of the web and digital devices, receiving a printed publication in the mail would possibly appear to be a hark again to the previous.
But as a diverse and inclusive neighborhood, it’s important that Council information and data reaches all residents, not simply those who incessantly use social media,” said Mayor Ruddock.
